| 6.2 |
Christmas Party Pack - GR brought forward the idea of raffling of a 'party pack' to students for the final Gobble of the year (Wednesday, December 12th). A meeting will be held next Wednesday to discuss whether this idea will be a success. |
| 6.3 |
Relay Marathon - GR brought forward the idea of a relay marathon to raise funds for the team, however RC and gr said it would not be possible due to lack of team input. |
| 6.4 |
Bagpacking - GR and gr believe it is a fantastic idea to raise funds especially with Christmas coming up, however the same reasons as agenda item 6.3 were raised. |
| 6.5 |
Club 100 - GR stated that he had been in touch with Ziad Choueiri (ZC), Jon Wyse (JW), Brett Rosenbaum (BR) and James Tucker (JT) who have all raised their concerns on the proposal that GR drew up. |
| 6.5.1 |
Proposal - To create a membership for the Alumni players of the team in order to raise money for extraordinary items such as goal posts. It return half of the membership would go into a prize raffle draw on a monthly, quarterly or half yearly basis. |
| 6.5.2 |
Concerns - BR and JT made concerns that Student Activities would own the equipment and if the club had financial issues in 10 years time they could force the team to sell the equipment brought using any funds from the 'Club 100' and the SA would give less money to the team. JW believes that the Old Boys/Alumni would want something in return rather than a chance of winning a cash prize, he gave examples such as T-Shirts and a sit down meal at Old Boys rather the Buffet option that the team has used, ZC agreed. (SIDENOTE: GR, gr and RC were going to enquire about function room prices at the North Staffs Hotel.) gr said that if the club was to do create a club 100 a lot of organisation has to go into the fund as direct debits would/may have to be set up and someone would have to be liable. |
| 6.5.3 |
The Union - GR in the meeting with KH said that the Union would help setting up the Club 100 by using the online system that the Students Union has been using for ticket purchases. KH also said that it would not affect the amount of money the SU will give the team. gr said that he would not trust the SU with his bank details once he had finished as a student. |
| 6.5.4 |
Everyone at the meeting believes that a lot of organisation and time and effort would have to be put in to create the Club 100. Everyone believed that it would benefit the team in the long term future if the fund was to be set up and everyone agreed with JW that a prize fund would not be sufficient enough in order to get the alumni to sign up to the Club. |

| 7.3 |
GR brought up that numbers are lacking in training on a Thursday night. He believes that socials/non socials on a Wednesday night are to blame for people not turning. PB agrees, but states that we cannot stop people from going out if we stopped socials or moved them to a Friday. He also pointed out that Friday not the right night to have a social due games are played on a Sunday. |

Peter Buckley brought it to the committee to get another coach company to travel with for Lincoln. GR said that he and RC have been on the phone to Bennett’s coaches enquiring, but when they do not get back to you after you have phoned up numerous times asking for quotes then it is not worth the hassle. GR also pointed out that we have had no problems with Copelands Tours and the team will be using them for the away games. |
| 8.2 |
