The Staffordshire Stallions are proud to announce that they have agreed a new sponsorship agreement with The Fawn public house for the 2007/2008 season.

The deal, which is worth £500 for the team, will see the venue host Stallions post game entertainment as well as socials on a twice monthly basis.

Team President, Gary Richardson spoke of his delight of the agreement that has been reached.

"I am happy that we have reached a deal with The Fawn and its management team. The Fawn has a great atmosphere and is a warm and friendly environment to sit down and have a drink in.

"It is also great that the Fawn is backing the Stallions financially as well as offering us and our opponents free food on a weekly basis."

Richardson added: "The Fawn has been good to the team in the past and as hosted events that we have held, most recently the Jelly Wrestling that was organised by our Team Secretary Paul Briscoe. I fully believe that this partnership between the Fawn and us we will exciting and rewarding for both parties."

The deal between the Fawn and the Staffordshire Stallions brings an end to a two year relationship with the Leek Road Venue, better known as the LRV.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chris Day and the LRV Management team for the help and support they have shown to the team over the past two years, especially in helping the team organise our club night four weeks ago."
