The Staffordshire Stallions began the year, in what many would call a rebuilding year, with a tough game against the Double T Wing of Sheffield Hallam Warriors.
A tough schedule gives the Stallions two road games against Leeds and Derby which Staffs will need to win if they want to reach the playoffs. The Leicester Longhorns were scheduled to travel to the Stables in the last game before the Christmas break, however the game was postponed.
Staffordshire continue their regular season with five games in five weeks. First they travel to Lincoln before hosting the rearranged Leicester game. Next up is a trip away to Nottingham before they host Loughborough and Liverpool to close out the regular season.
